St. John's will welcome back baritone James Rogers during our 10:00 am worship service on July 19. He will sing selections from Mendelssohn’s Elijah as well as Vaugh Williams' “Five Mystical Songs."
Rogers has performed opera, concert, recital, and oratorio in and around his native Washington, DC, for thirty years, as well as a featured soloist around the U.S. A member of Grace Episcopal, Silver Spring, James has been a choral and solo liturgical artist in churches in the DMV. He was most recently featured as a soloist at St. John's Norwood on Pentecost.
