On Sunday, October 25th, please give generously to Bethesda Cares (BC). This local nonprofit has been working for over 30 years to prevent, ease and end homelessness by connecting neighbors to essential supports, so they can return to stable housing in the community.
BC street outreach workers develop meaningful relationships with their clients, the first step toward helping them find a home. Once a client agrees to accept housing, other staff help them obtain housing subsidies and start the transition to housing. Critical Time intervention staff provide essential support to help individuals regain stability, working individually with clients as they move in and staying in touch over the course of the first year in housing,
