Every November, parishioner and pediatric ophthalmologist Vike Vicente makes a mission trip to Comayagua, Honduras with the Virginia Hospital Center Brigade, where he and other volunteers provide the local people with eyeglasses and eye surgeries. The team welcomes donations of gently used eyeglasses to provide to the patients they serve.
If you have any gently used eyeglasses or sunglasses in good condition that you no longer need, please drop them off in the glasses donation box next to the Sacristy by Sunday, October 25.
Also, please mark your calendar for November 15, when Vike will tell us about his mission trips to Honduras over the years at the 10:00 am Adult Forum.
