LIFE EVENTS AT ST. JOHN'S

Baptisms

Baptism marks a beautiful beginning, inviting new members into our faith.  We celebrate each baptism as a community symbolizing our profound connection to God and to each other. 


Who Can Be Baptized:

We welcome infants, children, and adults. No need to be a member, just a desire to join the Christian faith.


How to Prepare for baptism:

Please contact the church office to request a baptism form. On the day of the baptism, you will arrive a little early to the service for a brief run-through before the official event. 


When do Baptisms Occur:

We hold baptisms 4 times a year within the context of our Sunday worship services.  These are typically offered on the second Sunday of Epiphany (early January), the Sunday after Easter, Pentecost Sunday, and All Saints’ Sunday (the first Sunday in November).

LIFE EVENTS AT ST. JOHN'S

Weddings

Marriage at St. John's is a sacred celebration of love that is open to all couples regardless of sexual orientation. We provide a beautiful backdrop for your vows, whether in our stately Nave or intimate St. Mary’s Chapel. You’ll meet with one of our clergy team for pre-marital counseling and be supported by our wedding coordinator on the big day. From florals to music, our dedicated teams help craft a ceremony that reflects your unique bond.


Who Can Be married:

Marriage ceremonies are open to all couples, reflecting our belief in the inclusivity of God’s love.


HOW TO PREPARE:

Pre-marriage counseling and a meeting with clergy are required to ensure a solid foundation for your journey together


WORSHIP AND EVENT SPACES:

Choose between our majestic Nave, accommodating up to 400 guests, or the intimate St. Mary’s Chapel for smaller gatherings. Our Parish Hall is available for receptions.

Funerals

In times of loss, St. John’s offers a place of comfort and celebration. Our clergy are here to guide you through planning a service that honors the life of your loved one with dignity and grace.

SERVICE VENUES:

Our Nave and St. Mary’s Chapel offer solemn, beautiful settings for services, with the Parish Hall available for receptions.

The Altar Guild, Flower Guild, and Director of Music Ministries are available to ensure the service is meaningful and reflective of the departed’s spirit.

For those seeking a final resting place, our columbarium in the Memorial Garden is available for members and their immediate families, providing a peaceful space for remembrance.
