The Op Shop held its Annual General Meeting on Saturday, April 27, in the Parish Hall. Deacon Anne Derse opened the meeting with prayer and Board Chair Maire Hewitt announced the agenda. Two new members were voted onto the Board: Carol Assman (for a second term) and Sheila Temourian. Nancy Floreen was also welcomed as a new, fourth manager. Manager Claudia Kousoulas shared a long list of partnerships, and Treasurer Susan Baker gave a most positive accounting of the current finances.
About 45 ladies and a few men, who assist in various capacities at the shop, attended the meeting. It was followed by a lovely lunch which is the annual THANK YOU for the MANY Opportunity Shop volunteers. (We'd love for you to join us!)
