The Saint John’s Women’s Community held a casual Social Supper on Sunday, October 5. Our dinner featured great dishes, including tasty main courses and fabulous desserts. It was a great opportunity to visit with old friends and meet women who are new to our community.
A couple of business items were discussed, including the 2026 Women’s Retreat, which is scheduled for March 28 and 29 at Bon Secours. More information will be coming later, but we hope you will add this date to your 2026 calendar!
Also, Jessica told us about the meditative art session that Emma Cowan is offering in the St. John’s Library on Thursday, November 6, from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. It is designed for adults of all levels—whether you are brand-new to art or have years of creative practice. The evening will provide approachable techniques that encourage slowing down, letting go of perfection, and finding peace through the process of making art. No fee is required, but a suggested donation of $5 will help cover the cost of materials.
If you’re interested or have questions about the art session, please use the form below to contact Emma Cowan. Emma will need to know numbers by OCTOBER 30, so, do let her know if you’d like to attend!
Thank you to all who joined us for the Social supper!
