St. John’s volunteers will help support our democracy by writing postcards to Black voters in North Carolina for the general election on November 3.
Getting out the vote in areas that have historically experienced voter suppression is particularly important. As in the past, we’re collaborating with Reclaim Our Vote, a voter outreach campaign of the Center for Common Ground (CCG). CCG is a minority-led, non-partisan nonprofit working to educate and empower voters of color in voter suppression states:
Sign up now to join the effort to send postcards to voters this fall! After you sign up, you can expect to pick up your packet in the West Avenue lobby at St. John’s starting on Sunday, June 21. After completing the postcards, you’ll hold them to mail in October, closer to the November 3 election.
