We have an exciting year planned for the Choristers! After a successful year, we will continue with the same emphasis on singing, musician education, and leadership in the worship service. The Chorister Choir is open to any child grades 3-8.
Rehearsals are held on Wednesdays in the Choir Room, starting with snacks at 4:45 pm and ending at 6:00 pm. Vocal coach Elissa Edwards will return as vocal coach to provide voice lessons for the children who join the choir. (This individual training is unique to St John’s and is a wonderful benefit of participating in the choir).
The Choristers sing approximately once a month at the 9:00 am service. They will either sing by themselves or with the adults and teens of the St John’s Choir.
