Does a tsar's spiritual path have something to teach us? Alexander's tutor educated him in Enlightenment beliefs, and he faithfully attended Russian Orthodox mass. Yet as an adult he found his truth in unchurched pietism, prayer, and Bible-reading. His faith strengthened during the drama of the Napoleonic wars. Come consider your own spiritual path as we get to know this tsar. The discussion will be led by parishioner Nancy Derr, who has written a biography of Alexander and his wife Elisabeth.
