Help Our Neighbors Keep Warm This Winter!

St. Johns is partnering again with the nonprofit Identity, to collect coats and winter gear for new arrivals in Montgomery County.

We are seeking new or gently used coats with hoods (clean, no stains, no broken zippers or buttons), along with new hats, mittens, gloves, and scarves. These coats and outerwear items are needed for males and females in all sizes, from babies to adults. (If you'd like to purchase items to donate online, here are links for Toddlers and Adults.)

Parishioners are invited to drop these items off in a designated bin in the St. John’s West Avenue lobby on Sundays, November 9, 16, and 23

The coats will be distributed by Identity, which serves primarily Latino and other immigrant youth and their families who live in high poverty areas of Montgomery County, in this time of unprecedented hardship and upheaval.  St. Johns has successfully partnered with Identity to serve its clients in other ways, including helping with housing needs. Identity and its clients are very appreciative of this relationship!
