The September 14 Adult Forum introduced a very special new program called Being With"” that several parishioners are working to offer to St. John’s parishioners. Being With is a 10-week course for a group of eight to twelve people that offers participants the opportunity to consider their own life experiences in the context of fundamental truths of human existence as understood through our Christian faith. The course follows a unique, carefully-designed, standardized method that fosters deep sharing and deep listening. With the guidance of two “hosts,” in a safe and confidential space, we explore thought-provoking themes at the core of Christian faith while strengthening relationships with each other.
