While there are many ways to meet new folks at church, I can testify to the fun of a Koinonia (or "K") Group! My group's first gathering was in January, at a Third Sunday Supper. Colleen and Dave offered their home for a potluck dinner in February and then again for a more casual Happy Hour in March. In April, we voted to enjoy Indian delights at Bethesda Curry Kitchen (pictured here). For May, Trish and Skip invited us to a potluck brunch in their pretty garden, where we enjoyed each other's company and the day's spectacularly good weather!
We don't necessarily have the whole group together each time, but we always enjoy good conversation and good food. It has been delightful getting to know these fellow parishioners, and we have formed a bond.
