Men’s Book Club Discusses “Pachinko” by Min Jin Lee; Open to Both Men and Women

Wednesday, Mar. 12  |  7:30 pm  |   Lounge/ZOOM  -

At our next meeting, we will discuss Pachinko by Min Jin Lee. Pachinko covers a multi-generational Korean family from the period in which Korea was a colony of Japan through 1989. The central characters in the book are a group of strong, resilient women who quietly and courageously combat the enmity of Japanese society to Koreans. Pachinko was a "New York Times 10 Best Books of 2017" and one of its "Top 100 Books of the Century."

The group's meetings are now open to both men and women, so everyone is most welcome.

If you have not previously attended one of our meetings, contact Earle O'Donnell using the form below to let him know you will be attending. He will then email you the Zoom link.
