Wednesday, Mar. 5 | 12:00 pm & 7:30 pm | Nave / Livestream (7:30 only) -
Ash Wednesday is the first of the forty days of Lent, a season of prayer and fasting, self-examination and repentance that prepares us for the celebration of Easter. On this day, we are invited to examine our lives, confess our sins, and receive God’s mercy and forgiveness. The imposition of ashes on worshippers' foreheads is performed as a sign of our repentance and a symbol of our human frailty. “Remember that you are dust, and to dust you shall return.” (Genesis 3:19)
Please join us on March 5, at either 12:00 noon or 7:30 pm, for our Ash Wednesday service. The 7:30 service will also be livestreamed on YouTube.
