This December St. John's Norwood will again host its beloved Christmas Pageant, a cherished tradition that brings joy and festive spirit to the community. It will be offered twice—on Sunday, December 22 at 10:00 am and Tuesday, December 24 (Christmas Eve) at 5:00 pm—and both are open to ALL children, up through grade 5, who wish to participate. (Please arrive 20 minutes early for costumes!)
We will have one rehearsal on Saturday, December 21, from 9:30 am until 11:00 am. Key parts will be pre-assigned to children who can participate in the rehearsal and both pageants; older children will have the opportunity to be narrators. "Pick-up” parts will be available for visitors and children who can’t join us on all three key dates. So even if they can’t commit to all three dates, ALL children will have a part to play if they join us on December 22 and/or Christmas Eve!
All music for the pageant will be sung by the entire congregation. To help child(ren) prepare, download these Pageant song sheets and audio files. (We also will sing through these carols during our 10 am Church School hour on Sundays, December 8 and 15.)
There are also opportunities for adults and youth to be part of our Pageant Team! And we invite cookie donations for receptions following the December 22 pageant.
