St. John’s Choir will sing for the annual Advent Lessons & Carols service on Sunday, December 8, at 5:00 pm.
This service is a beautiful and reflective Christian tradition that marks the beginning of the Advent season. It includes readings that recount the fall of humanity, the promise of the Messiah, and the birth of Jesus. These readings are interspersed with the singing of anthems and hymns that reflect on the themes of hope, anticipation, and the coming of Christ.
