We know that the proceeds from our Ukrainian Easter Bazaar were used to fund construction of a hospital maternity unit, a therapy room for disabled children and a full set of state of the art surgical tools. We have just been notified by St. Andrew’s Humanitarian Center that there was enough money left to establish an athletics competition for kids in the city of Zhytomyr.
This sports competition provided kids with a sense of normalcy and celebrated their talents and accomplishments - complete with medals and certificates of achievement! The photo shows the medalists of the Boy’s Triathlon competition.
It's amazing how far our donations have gone in supporting these kids! They all know they are being helped by the kindness of American friends who care.
