Join St. John’s in marching with the Episcopal Diocese of Washington (EDOW) in the 2026 DC Pride Parade. Parishioner Rick Seale will be coordinating the St. John’s contingent in DC that day. Use the form below to contact Rick about being added to the participant list, or just show up on June 20 and join in the fun!
The parade steps off at 3:00 pm, and it can take a while to get all parade units onto the parade route. The group will gather at St. Luke's (1514 15th St. NW, Washington, DC) at 2:30 pm for fellowship, instructions, and prayer. The group will likely depart from St. Luke's for the parade route around 3:15 pm. More detailed instructions are at this link: Pride Parade Instructions 2026 (a Google doc).
► Post-event update:
A small but mighty contingent from St. John’s Norwood marched along with a massive, vibrant presence from across the Episcopal Diocese of Washington (EDOW). The energy was electric, anchored by EDOW’s spectacular parade float: a stunning, rainbow-colored representation of the National Cathedral. Thank you to everyone who marched, cheered, and represented our community. Your presence was a beautiful testament to our commitment to love, acceptance, and hospitality for all neighbors!
