Ukrainian Christmas Market Exceed Expectations!

This year's Ukrainian holiday market, on Sunday, December 7, raised an astonishing $10,348.  The majority of proceeds from the market will support the purchase of defibrillators for emergency responders across Ukraine. $1500 will be dedicated to paying for lifesaving treatment for Vladik, a young Ukrainian man struggling with severe cerebral palsy; your past donations funded two full courses of treatment in 2025.

Thanks to Sandie Stoianovici, the market offered an extraordinary display of Ukrainian craftsmanship and seasonal delights. Visitors browsed Petrykivka hand-painted lacquerware, cherry-wood chess sets, whimsical Christmas ornaments, vibrant socks and tights, embroidered pillows and textiles, throws, woolen blankets handwoven on wooden looms, and an irresistible spread of Ukrainian pastries, coffee, tea, and chocolates. Much in demand were the hand-carved and signed wooden Santa figures by a variety of artisans with distinctive styles. Thanks to all who helped make the market such a success and raised much needed aid for the people of Ukraine. Slava Uraini!
