The Ukraine Support Group will host St. John's Third Sunday Supper on November 16 from 5:45 until 8:00 pm. Once again, our partners at St. Andrew Humanitarian Center will provide a wonderful Ukrainian buffet dinner with wine. We will be entertained by a very talented young musician, Mariia Bohomolova, who will play the Ukrainian Bandura [pictured]. She is regularly invited to play at both the Ukrainian Embassy and Ukraine House events and demonstrates great skill with this uniquely Ukrainian instrument!
Fr. Volodymyr Steliac and his wife, Marta, from St. Andrew Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral, willl attend, and members of the Humanitarian Center will give a presentation on efforts to raise funds for an emergency evacuation ambulance. All donations made during the evening will help us achieve this lifesaving goal.
