Sunday, Oct. 26 | 3:00 - 5:30 pm | Parish Hall -
Join St. John's Holy Land Committee on Sunday, October 26 from 3:00 to 5:30 pm, in the Parish Hall for a special event with the Jewish-Islamic Dialogue Society. This event will feature two representatives of the Rossing Center for Education and Dialogue, an Israel/Palestine-based organization whose goal is to promote better relations between Jews, Christians and Muslims in the region.
The speakers, Hanna Bendcowsky, Rossing's Program Director, and John Munayer, Rossing's Director of International Engagement, will address the situation on the ground and which tools and frameworks make a constructive impact on the region. The event will be moderated by Imad Ad-Dean a Palestinian American Scholar Member of the Jewish-Islamic Dialogue Society (JIDS) of Washington community. JIDS is a big tent group representing a range of political and theological perspectives and, in their tradition, small group discussions will take place after the speakers conclude. St. John's is honored to have them back in our midst!
Join us, and please share this flyer and invite your friends and neighbors to this special event. For purposes of crowd management (and food ordering), please RSVP in advance, using the form below.
