Pets of all kinds are invited to our 5:00 pm "Come As You Are" service on Sunday, October 5, for a joyful “Blessing of the Animals." In the spirit of St. Francis of Assisi, whose feast day falls on October 4, we gather to honor the goodness of God’s creation and the special place animals hold in our lives. Our pets are often sources of comfort, joy, and unconditional love—reminding us of God’s own faithfulness. The “Blessing of the Animals” is a way to give thanks for these companions and to pray for their health, happiness, and the deep bonds we share. Join us in giving thanks for the diversity of animals that enrich our lives!
