Please join us for the September 21 Adult Forum featuring Neils Ribeiro-Yemofi and Maronel Berry of LIFT DC. They will join us to discuss their organization’s successful model for breaking the cycle of poverty created by decades of racial inequity and underinvestment in our communities.
Founded in 1998, LIFT is a national nonprofit headquartered in DC with sites across the United States. LIFT’s one-on-one coaching program empowers parents to set and achieve goals that put their families on the path to economic mobility. LIFT also advocates policy that centers the voices of low-income families and partners with health systems, colleges, and local and national governments to deliver services across the country.
