Sunday, April 26 | 10:00 am | Parish Hall/Zoom (link: bit.ly/STJNmain) -
We are pleased to have as our speaker Father Pete Nunnally, who is the founder of Water and Wilderness Church (WWC), a church plant in the Diocese of Washington. Weekly services are held at 5:00 pm at Fletcher’s Boathouse along the Potomac River in DC. Incorporating Celtic spirituality, the WWC translates our Episcopal liturgy into a fresh expression of worship infused with the wisdom of nature.
In his presentation, Father Pete will share stories from WWC, integrating the wisdom of creation and Christianity, and discuss why they say that nature is God’s heartbeat. Father Pete is a council member of the Associated Parishes of Liturgy and Mission, and he sits on the board of the Center for Spirituality in Nature.
Plant swap: As in the past, we are calling on all gardeners to bring a few extra plants to share and swap with others. Native plants are preferred, but all are welcome!
