Share Leftover Halloween Candy with Ukrainian Children

Sunday, Nov. 2  |  8:00 am - 1:00 pm  |  West Ave. Lobby  -

Our friends at St. Andrew Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral will be collecting leftover Halloween candy again for Ukrainian children this winter.  All the candy collected will be sorted at St. Andrew’s and repackaged so that every child receives a nice bag with a good assortment of chocolate, hard candy, lollipops, etc.

We would like to help again this year!  Please save your leftover candy for us.  On Sunday, November 2, we will have a table in the West Avenue Lobby between 8:00 am and 1:00 pm.  You may drop off your candy at this time.  Please ensure that all donated candy is in the original individual wrappers or bags.

This will be another desperately cold winter for most children in Ukraine.  There will be no heating for many who live in areas where the power grids have been damaged.  These children are now facing a fourth Christmas in bomb shelters, in the midst of repeated nightly drone and missile strikes.  Please help give them a bit of Christmas love and joy.  So little would mean so much to these kids!
