Planned Giving

St. John’s welcomes planned gifts from parishioners if the parishioner’s personal or family circumstances permit. There are two types of planned gifts: bequests through a will and lifetime gifts such as an annuity, life insurance policy, or charitable trust. If you would like to include St. John’s in your will, you can do so by:

  • Making a gift of a specific amount of money
  • Designating a percentage of the residuary of your estate.

If you would like to include St. John’s in your will or to make a lifetime gift, please contact the church at plannedgiving@stjohnsnorwood.org or by phone at 301-654-7767.

For more information, here is an overview of St. John’s Planned Giving Program, including a guide for Getting Your Affairs in Order and the Norwood Guild Acknowledgement Form, which may be completed and forwarded to the office to help make us aware of your planned gift so that we can appropriately honor you.
