Outreach Sunday for Samaritan Ministry of Greater Washington

Sunday, June 23rd is Outreach Sunday in support of Samaritan Ministry of Greater Washington (SMGW). SMGW has kicked off its annual Empower the Homeless campaign to help improve the lives of more than 1,000 people who are homeless or otherwise in need. Your support will help benefit SMGW's Next Step program. The Next Step program helps participants help themselves as they set their own goals and, with the help of a SMGW case worker, take manageable steps toward completing those goals. St. John's successfully raised funds for the replacement of the ambulance for St. Luke's Hospital in Nablus and it is our third year supporting part of a nurse's salary there. In fact, this year we were able to fund a full nurse's salary thanks to you, St. John's caring parishioners. We have made a difference in humanitarian services in this region. Can we do more?
