Backpacks on the altar to be blessed

Blessing of the Backpacks

September 1 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am

Youth and adults alike are invited to bring their backpacks and briefcases to the 10:00 am service on Sunday, September 1st for a blessing at the start of the new school and work year. We will also be holding our annual school supply drive for Interfaith Works. 14th Annual Unity Walk

Sponsored by the Interfaith Council of Metropolitan Washington, of which St. John's is a member, the Unity Walk is a demonstration of solidarity and unity for all faith groups in the DC metro area. Walk down Massachusetts Avenue and visit houses of worship and religious centers to learn more about diverse faiths and cultures in our community.
