St. Paddy’s Day Feast and Fundraiser
The annual St. Paddy’s Day Feast and Fundraiser will take place on Sunday, March 18 at 5:45 pm in the Parish Hall, featuring a meal of Shepherd’s Pie (and a vegetarian option) and Irish Soda Bread. St. John’s own folk band, The Seldom Heard, will provide music.
The meal is prepared by our Youth Group, who use the proceeds to support their annual service trip to CAMP JOY.
CAMP JOY stands for Christian Appalachian Mission Project Joining Other Youth. Young people from parishes in Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia spend a week camping outside Berkeley Springs, WV while working on fixing up homes for families in need. St. John’s Youth Group has participated in CAMP JOY for over two decades!
Price of admission to the St. Paddy’s Day Feast and Fundraiser is $5/person, $15/family. Optional contributions to the CAMP JOY fund are also welcomed.
Wear your green, listen to some Celtic tunes, and support the Youth Group over a delicious dinner of traditional Irish fare!
