Poor People’s Campaign 2024 Assembly and March on Washington

June 29 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm

At our May 5 Adult Forum, we heard from the chairs of the Maryland Poor People’s Campaign. Among their calls to action was to participate in the Poor People’s Campaign’s upcoming national  event: The Mass Poor People & Low-Wage Workers’ Assembly & Moral March on Washington, D.C.  on Saturday, June 29.

The aim of the assembly and march is to mobilize the one-third of the U.S. electorate who are poor and low-wage infrequent voters as well as to pressure political leaders to embrace a 17-point agenda during the 2024 election cycle and beyond. Learn more and share your plans to attend at mdppc.org/mm2024
