On Sunday, January 26th, all undesignated checks and cash will be donated to Seabury Resources for Aging, which provides personalized, affordable services and housing options to help older adults in the greater Washington, DC area live with independence and dignity.
Seabury runs a range of programs, including age-in-place assistance, care management, a center for the blind and visually impaired, home-delivered meals, LGBTQ programs, the Model Cities senior wellness center, and transportation. Seabury also operates three senior living communities in Washington, D.C. and Silver Spring, and is D.C.’s lead agency providing supportive services to help older adults in Wards 5 and 6 remain in their homes. St. John’s own Suzanne Welch serves on the Seabury Board of Directors.
Although Seabury provides vital services to some older adults, many more are in need of help. Please bring your checkbook and give generously on January 26th!
