New Story Leadership Virtual Forum

Details

Date:
July 12
Time:
1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

New Story Leadership (NSL) is a wonderful nonprofit program St. John’s Holy Land Committee has supported that brings together ten 20-something Israelis and Palestinians each summer in Washington, D.C. for seven weeks. Every year, NSL delegates live together with American host families and participate in leadership training, dialogue, and Hill internships. The class of 2020 couldn’t travel to the U.S. and all NSL leadership training and events are using Zoom due to COVID-19. Still, they are preparing for their participation next year in their Congressional internships, their home experiences, and sharing their stories.

NSL is holding an event on July 12, which will introduce their 2020 delegates.¬†Daniel Estrin, the Jerusalem Correspondent for NPR, will moderate a discussion with the 2020 team members. St. John’s will host and co-sponsor the event with nine other interfaith communities, including churches, temples, and Islamic centers. The event will also be a fundraiser, sponsored by NSL, with opportunities for individual electronic giving for the audience throughout the event. Please join us for this informative and exciting event.
