Holy Land Forum

May 23
12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Please join the Holy Land Committee (HLC) in our 4-part forum series. We will illuminate our work with several NGO providers of humanitarian and educational support to Palestinians and Israelis, discuss what might replace a failed two-state solution, hear from several diplomats about “resetting peace,” and from a U.S. diplomat on Biden administration policy.

Our third series event on May 23 at NOON will be a panel discussion on the theme “Resetting Peace” in Israel-Palestine with New Story Leadership and diplomats with extensive experience in the region. This event will be held AFTER our regular forum time. This event will be moderated by Lucy Ellenbogen, Director, Israeli-Palestinian Conflict Program at the U.S. Institute of Peace. Panelists will be Francois Zimray, former French Human Rights Ambassador, Christine Bjoik, currently serving in Brussels at the Swedish delegation to the EU, and Shaimal Al Boushi, a young diplomat from the United Arab Emirates (UAE). New Story Leadership Alums will then comment on the discussion and their perspectives on the ways to reset peace.

The fourth and final event in this series will take place sometime this fall. Read more here.
