Episcopalianism 101 is being offered again in May! Led by parishioner Tom Hebert, these three, 45-minute sessions are ideal for those new to St. John’s or to the Episcopal Church – or for anyone seeking a brief introduction to the Episcopal Church, Episcopalianism, and what that means in practice at St John’s.
- Session 1, May 7: the early Christian Church, the growth of the various Christian denominations, and the historical and ongoing relationship of the Episcopal Church to Roman Catholicism and Protestantism.
- Session 2, May 14: the fundamental importance of the worship experience to understanding the Episcopal approach to religious beliefs.
- Session 3, May 21: what it means at St John’s as our community seeks to live at the crossroads of Faith and Life.
Please register your interest HERE, then join us Sundays in May in the Parish Lounge at 9:00 am or on Zoom.
