Adult Forum: Zero Waste Living – How to Walk Lighter on the Earth

Details

Date:
February 28
Time:
11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Many of us feel powerless to solve the looming climate and waste crises. We have too much on our plates, and may think these problems are better solved by governments and businesses. Many of us are also finding that the pandemic has caused us to consume more, especially via online shopping. What’s a busy person to do?

In this talk, green finance and lifestyle expert Stephanie Miller will describe the “magic three” actions from her recent book that we can all take: focus on food, purge plastics, and recycle right. You will leave the conversation feeling empowered to take action today and help others around you do the same.

This talk has been organized by St. John’s Eco-Action Team to help you achieve your Lenten pledge to live more lightly on the earth. Please join us!
