St. John’s Opportunity Shop will hold its Annual Meeting in person this year on Saturday, April 15 in the St John’s Parish Hall. The Business Meeting will begin at 11:00 am and will include the election of new Board Members. A luncheon will be enjoyed by all following the business meeting.
Four candidates have been nominated to run in the election for the Board of Directors of the Opportunity Shop for term(s) beginning April 2023. Additional nominations may be submitted by petition by March 14, 2023. (Read on for more details.)

PROCEDURE FOR SUBMISSION OF CANDIDATES BY PETITION
The Nominating Committee, appointed by the Op Shop Board, will receive submissions of candidates by petition through March 14, 2023. Nominations by petition shall include not fewer than five (5) active or retired volunteer workers of the Opportunity Shop. Please contact a member of the Nominating Committee (Kay Jansky, Joyce Raub, or Liz Mullikin ) with any questions and/or to submit a candidate petition.
VOTING PROCESS
The slate of four nominees will be presented for affirmation at the general meeting unless additional candidates are presented for inclusion to the nominating committee by March 14, 2023.
