Nov. 23 Adult Forum: Care Management

Sunday, Nov. 23  |  10:00 am - 11:00 am  |  Parish Hall/Zoom  -

What do I need to do to be able to stay where I am, but get help with everyday activities?

Are you feeling overwhelmed by caregiving questions you don't have answers to?  You are not alone. Every day, seniors and families reach out to us asking:

  • How do we modify Dad’s home so he can age in place safely?
  • My mother’s funds are running out - what are our Medicaid options?
  • How do we find a new place for my family member to live?
  • I’m caring for my husband full-time. How do I find reliable in-home help?

If these scenarios sound familiar, attend the Adult Forum on Sunday, Nov. 23, at which Seabury Resources for Aging’s Care Management staff can help answer questions. You can attend in person or on Zoom (link:  bit.ly/STJNmain).

Seabury Resources for Aging® supports aging adults around the Washington Metropolitan Area with the people, services, and communities they need to age with dignity and independence. Many seniors do not have the resources needed. Others may have the resources, but are unsure about their options and benefits as they get older. Seabury steps into that gap as a trusted, compassionate authority to answer these questions.

Each year, Seabury serves over 6,000 community members and their families with affordable housing and services, including professional Care Management and high-quality senior living communities, as well as Aging-in-Place supports and no cost meals for low-income seniors.

To learn more about Seabury Resources for Aging®, attend the Adult Forum, connect with parishioner Suzanne Welch, a Seabury Board member, or visit www.seaburyresources.org.
