Breaking bread together is at the heart of our identity as Episcopalians. It is a central part of the rhythm of our lives at St. John’s to gather each Sunday as we worship God together, engage scripture with our hearts and minds, seek hope and guidance through prayer, and offer our gifts of thanksgiving.
Following Christ is a journey in which we are constantly called to learn and grow. At St. John’s, we are committed to education and to providing opportunities for individuals of all ages to grow and mature into their best selves.
“Building Community at the Crossroads of Faith and Life.” Whether we worship, learn, grow, or serve, everything is meant to help us grow into deeper community with God and with one another. We believe that building community is at the center of what it means to be a church.
At St. John’s, we believe that we are called to be witnesses to the love of Christ, and that this translates into making a positive difference in the world, both within and beyond the walls of our church.
Music is an integral part of St. John’s worship. Parishioners and visitors alike share in our inviting liturgy and the welcoming spirit offered by those who sing or ring as part of our music leadership community.
Children and youth are loved and welcomed in all aspects of our ministries at St. John’s. Community is at the center of all that we do at St. John’s, and children are an integral part of our community.
