Director of Music Ministries: The Search Begins

St. John’s is actively seeking our next Director of Music Ministries. This full-time, core staff position makes possible a ministry that is central to our mission, “Building Community at the Crossroads of Faith and Life.” The music ministry not only broadens our services spiritually, but also creates ways for parishioners and choir members of all ages and abilities to use their musical gifts in the practice of praising God. We expect to fill the position by early Spring 2018.

Episcopal program parish with 1400 members seeks a full-time Director of Music Ministries who will continue to build the role of music in the church, maintaining high standards while including all ages/talents. The Director also facilitates a contemporary 5:00 p.m. Sunday service, directs a handbell choir, and directs two young children’s choirs (K-grade 2; grades 3-5), each of which performs every couple of months.

The Director plays at Sunday services and all special services, including weddings and funerals.
